Tiresome, novel camerawork aside, End of Watch seems like David Ayer is engaged in business as usual with End of Watch. He loves his cop stories.
The cast features Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Pena and Anna Kendrick. As you'll see, so does the camera crew.
I saw some more clips from the film and a green band trailer at Comic-Con as part of Open Road's panel. They proved to be a low point in the weakest panel I attended throughout the whole weekend.
Still, maybe there's something in the plotting or character writing that could pull this through. I know the actors are more than up to the job.
