Instead of releasing typical teaser trailers for The Life of Pi, 20th Century Fox have decided to play out scenes from the film, in full. One if screening now in US cinemas, before 3D, non-IMAX screenings of Prometheus.
As regards online footage, they've gone for something much less substantial. But here it is: the internet's first look at The Life of Pi in motion. Get ready to jump back from the screen.
Shot in 3D, you say?
The film has been adapted by Ang Lee and screenwriter David Magee from Yann Martel's Booker Prize winning novel. It is a story made remarkable by its final reveal, and I'm not about to spoil it. I'm curious, though, if Lee can pull this off.
US audiences will get the full film come November 21st, while the UK will be waiting one month longer.
